Mr. Miguel Angel Sanchez
05/21/1953 – 04/13/2005
He was my dad. He use to work at the Central de Autobuses in Mexico, a very busy bus transportation service. He was a family man, although we couldn’t see him very often due to his travel schedule. When he came back to visit us for a couple of days, he would take us on a road trip, take us to visit his sisters (my aunts), or just spend the whole day with us —my brother, my two sisters and I— in the park, eating ice cream. He had separated from my mother, but he always came to see us on his days off. What I miss the most about him is when he use to help us with our homework and encourage us not to give up, or just his lasting hugs. He was a devout Catholic, very devoted to Our Lady of Guadalupe. Thanks to him, I am also very devoted to my Mother, Our Lady of Guadalupe.
